Getting your home organized and keeping it that way is quite a task. If you are constantly trying to battle clutter and disorganization we have compiled a couple of tips that should be of use to you.
- Store your instruction manuals in a single binder and keep it either in the kitchen or the pantry.
- Have a paper sheet on your fridge to jot down supplies that need replenishing. On shopping day simply grab the paper and be on your way.
- You can use an old stepladder to hang bath towels or hand towels.
- Use a mesh laundry bag to store children’s bath toys and you can hand them from a faucet to let them drain before putting them away.
- Use a shower caddy to organize your bathroom items such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
- You can keep a notebook in a dry area of the bathroom to jot down supplies that need replenishing. On shopping day simply grab the paper and be on your way.
- Assign children specific towels by color which makes laundry easier and it also helps with children who do not like to share.
- Use white label stickers to label cords for various appliances.
- Put up a bulletin board in a strategic area where you can post notes, to do lists, shopping lists and other notices.
- Install hooks in your closet to hang frequently used items.
