Poured Concrete Beachfront Home
This beautiful house was conceptualized by Traction Architecture and is located on an Island in the Gulf of Mexico. The builders had a hurdle to overcome because the topography is set in ever-changing sand dunes and tidal lines. However, the construction was successful and the results were great.
The building was constructed with poured concrete which is able to withstand the harsh coastal winds. The house stands on concrete columns which make the building seem like a stilted loft. The elevated structure has created a chance for the surrounding flora and fauna to flourish and stand out.
The house has an amazing wooden paneled elevated deck that overlooks the ocean and has great views of the surroundings.
A staircase with steel railings runs across the side of the house and leads out to the white sand dunes.
The interior is impeccable and focuses heavily on wooden furniture and detailing.
