Malbaie VIII Residence – Barn Inspired Architecture
MU Architecture designed the magnificent Malbaie VIII Residence in Quebec, Canada. The design of the dwelling is reminiscent of a quaint barnyard. The design infuses rustic elements such as gray metallic sidings and cedar planks which contrast well. The designers were successful in fusing the antique look with a modern finish giving the house a contemporary feel.
The interior has a warm feel thanks to the earthy tones and wood fittings that create a cozy ambience akin to a modern log cabin. The concrete floor adds character to the house with a dark, inviting hue.
The interior is quite expansive and includes four bedrooms, with each having its own bathroom.
MU Architecture outdid themselves with this innovative design which may just popularize the barn design.
